|  Born in New York on March 26, 1840. By 1894 Dickerman had moved to California and was active in Riverside County in 1901. A lawyer, he painted in his leisure. A landscape of Lake Elsinore in the San Jacinto Mountains is extant. He died in Santa Cruz, CA on Feb. 2, 1917. | Source:
