| | Born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1911. Dempster moved to southern California at an early age. During the 1930s he studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles. He then worked for Disney Studios as a background artist while painting watercolors in his leisure. He died in Sherman Oaks, CA on June 28, 2001. | Source:
