A magazine illustrator and designer, she was born in a log cabin in Calhoun County, Illinois, and studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and the Pennsylvania Museum of Industrial Arts in Philadelphia.
She then illustrated magazines such as Country Life, Children's Vogue, Delineator, House Beautiful, and the Saturday Evening Post. Donaldson later designed fabrics, wall paper, ceramics and rugs (showing 500 of 717 characters). |
