| The following information, submitted May 2005, was submitted by Elizabeth Kozlik, grandaughter of the artist.
Annette Dufresne was born in February of 1917. She grew up the daughter of French and German immigrants in Chicago, Ilinois. Here, she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago during the 1930's . It was at this school she met Frank Perri (also featured on Askart.com) and was married. She moved to Mexico with Frank Perri for several years to paint and be a wife.
After Mexico, the artists moved to Oak Park, Ilinois, where she continued painting recreationally and maintained a day job and raised three children. She resides today in Chesterton, Indiana.
