| | Born in Lemoore, Kings County, CA on Feb. 10, 1902. Bethel DeBoie married Lloyd Cisney and settled in San Francisco in 1922. While working as a cashier at Gump's, she painted in her leisure. Following her death of cancer in San Francisco on July 11, 1972, a retrospective of her work was held at the Labaudt Gallery.
