Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
Painter, designer. Born in Chicago, IL on March 4, 1884. Drogkamp studied at the American Academy in Chicago under John Francis Smith and John Vanderpoel. About 1940 he left NYC and settled in Los Angeles. He was active in the local art scene until his death there on June 1, 1958.

Exh: Allied Artists of America, 1937-39; Studio Guild of NY, 1930s; Society of Independent Artists, 1937; NAD, 1938-40; New Rochelle AA, 1939-40; LACMA, 1942-46; Calif. Art Club, 1942-55; EbelI Salon (LA), 1943 (solo), 1945; Society for Sanity in Art, CPLH, 1943-46; Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1943-51. WWAA 1940-56; DR.
