This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Having earned a fine arts degree from New York University and graduated from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, she became a noted impressionist pastel painter in the tradition of Mary Cassatt and Edgar Degas. Her work is moody, mysterious, and evocative.
She also studied at the Art Students League of New York and is an elected member of the Salmagundi Club and the American Arts Professional League. In 1998 was elected the President of the Pastel Society of America. |
