This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| A contemporary painter of large abstract works, Christina Doelling lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
Doelling learned her technique of layering paint while studying with Peter Stake at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She grew up in Frankfurt, Germany and London and spent time as a child visiting Europe's art museums. Her greatest influence is found in the work of Richard Diebenkorn whom she admires for his flexibility and expressiveness.
