| Pastelist Christine Debrosky of Tillson, New York is known for the effects of light in her landscape paintings. She has the ability to see and capture the transient effect of natural light, which transforms the ordinary to extraordinary. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of the West Coast.
Christine's contemporary impressionist paintings have been selected for, and honored with awards in numerous regional, national and international exhibitions. Her pastels have been featured in The Best of Pastel, and Landscape Inspirations, Rockport Publishers, as well as in numerous articles in national and regional publications.
Debrosky taught at the Woodstock School of Art in Woodstock, NY.
