| Born in Wilmington, OH on June 11, 1874. "Dwig" Dwiggins was a professional artist at age 19. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 1932, he settled into a studio-home at 12206 Magnolia. Following WWII, his syndicated comic strip "School Days" appeared in the LA Times. He died in North Hollywood, CA on Oct. 26, 1958.
