| | Born in Stockton, CA on March 21, 1874. Constance married artist Richard DeTreville in her native city, but the marriage ended in divorce. A self-taught artist, she settled in San Diego in 1912 and painted dioramas for the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. She remained in San Diego until her demise on Aug. 15, 1964. Her work includes watercolor landscapes, still lifes, china, and other assorted subject matter. Exh: Calif.
