Wildlife sculptor, Darrell Davis, knew at age 15 he wanted to be a
sculptor after visiting the South Carolina Brookgreen Sculpture Garden.
Davis studied art as an undergraduate at the University of
Texas at Arlington, and took graduate classes in landscape architecture
also at the University of Texas.
Davis researches his subjects at the Dallas and Fort Worth Zoos as well as the Fossil Rim Wildlife Park.
