Born and reared on a Kansas wheat farm, he was exposed daily to farm animals and wildlife, which ultimately became the subject of his work as a sculptor and painter. He is also a mask maker and works in traditional realist and impressionist-abstract styles.
As a child, he began carving images and then studied fine art at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He worked as a portrait painter of prize-winning livestock and after coll (showing 500 of 871 characters). |
