Born in Alton, Illinois, Don Durborow is known for his pastel still life and acrylic landscape painting. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri on a four-year art scholarship and has a lifetime teaching credential for art education.
During World War II, he served in the Air Force, and then married and settled in Fullerton, California.
He is a member of the California Art Club and the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association, and in 1999 won a major prize from the Pastel (showing 500 of 1451 characters). |
