The following was submitted April 2004 by Christine Froechtenigt Harper, Archives Assistant, Saint Louis University Archives, St. Louis, MO. She processed a collection of the papers of Dorothy Drew and her family.

American portrait artist Dorothy Hart Drew was born in Ethel, Missouri in 1910, a great-niece on her mother's side of American sculptor Joel Tanner Hart. Her sister Lorna enjoyed a local reputation as a child prodigy on the piano after the family moved to St. Louis in 1914. Appa (showing 500 of 3228 characters).
