| | Born in Elkridge, MD on Oct. 3, 1887. Donaldson was educated at Bryn Mawr and studied art at the AIC, with Leon Kroll and with André Lhote in Paris. She was a resident of Chicago and an employee of the WPA before moving to San Diego about 1940. A spinster, she died in La Jolla, CA on April 1, 1980.
