Biography from Boston Art Club:
| Erma Dyer was a student of Birger Sandzen. Her death date is unknown. She is known to have been in the West, especially in the region of Colorado, during the teens.
Her work is very much in the school of Sandzen. It is thickly applied, divisionist brush strokes of boldy composed colors.
