This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| De Crano spent many years in Saint Augustine, Florida during the late 1800's and early 1900's. He was sponsored by developer H.M. Flagler and was given studio space in the Ponce de Leon Hotel. Other artists of the period such as M.J.Heade shared these spaces. The Lightner Museum in St.Augustine has a large number of De Crano's works in it's permanent collection.
