| Hungarian born Artist Ferenc Daday's famous mural of President Nixon can be viewed in the Nixon library in Yorba Linda, CA. This artist produced many paintings of a romanticized view of the old west. He is still much in demand to paint large murals in private and public spaces throughout the world. He was born 1915 and is currently living in Southern California.
"In a mechanical world, there are two possible routes which the contemporary painter can choose: he can express the anguish and crises-Shock therapy; or he can seek out that which is more fundamental to man's needs and render it sensorially.
If he hopes the observer will pause for a peaceful moment and lose his anxieties, the artist must elect to follow the second footpath. My road has let me to places that still retain which renew my spirit, and I hope to pass this renewal and peace on to the viewer." Ferenc Daday |
