This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Captain George Dixon accompanied Captain Nathaniel Portlock on a voyage around the world from 1785 to 1788. He illustrated what he encountered along the voyage including the northwest coast of North America. These were included in the book, A Voyage Round the World; but more particularly to the North West Coast of America.
