| | Born in Hungary in 1863 of noble birth. Count DePerhach was a pupil of Hans Makart in Vienna and others before immigrating to the U.S. in 1882. After moving to California in 1903, he lived in Berkeley until 1917 and then moved to southern California. He died in Venice, CA on July 14, 1935. | Source:
