A painter, sculptor and teacher, Giglio Dante was born in Rome, Italy
and studied there at the Academy of Rome. He then lived in New York City,
and Boston Massachusetts where he taught at South Bay University. He
was a member of the Artists Union.
Exhibitions included the Cincinnati Art Museum, 1945; The Contemporary Group Art Gallery, Chicago, 1948, 1952, 1955; Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 1934-1936; Golden Gate Exposition, 1939; Boris Mirski Gallery, 1944, 1946; (showing 500 of 1300 characters). |
