| | Born in Canada on March 9, 1909. During the 1920s DeTremaudan studied at Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. Called “Frenchy” by his fellow students, he was on the staff of Palette Scrapings and active in school activities. For 15 years he was an animated cartoonist in the movie industry.
