| After studying ceramic arts at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and at the University of Washington in Seattle, Gloria DeArcangelis taught art in various colleges across the country. She was born in Munich, Germany.
In 1988, she settled in Seattle to pursue figurative painting full time.
