A long-time resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Grace Dickerson was a painter, sculptor and ceramist, and also an art instructor, who taught in Fort Wayne at the Harmar School, 1950 to 1951 and the Arcola School in 1955.
She studied at the Fort Wayne Art School; Instituto Allende, Mexico where she eanred an Master of Fine Arts Degree; the Art Institute of Chicago; and with Guy Pène DuBois. She also studied at St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
