From Lubbock, Texas, Greg Decker is a figurative painter, oil on canvas, whose subjects appear to be moving and ever-shifting positions. He spent his childhood in the African Congo, and imagery from that time is often reflected in his artwork.
Decker earned a BFA from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He has also had two fellowships at The MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire, and one at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Swe (showing 500 of 1206 characters). |
