| Hans Dreier was born in Germany on Aug. 21, 1885. Dreier arrived in Hollywood in the 1920s. He was head of the art department and designed sets for Paramount Pictures for many years. He worked on more than 500 films, won 23 Academy Award nominations and 3 Oscars. His address was Beverly Hills at the time of his death in Bernardsville, NJ on October 24, 1966.
