Hennie De Korte (b. 1941)
Born January 5, 1941, de Korte spent his early years in Australia after his family moved there from Utrecht, Holland. He first began to study painting in 1957 at the East Sydney Art School in Australia. In 1958, he returned to Holland where he studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Rotterdam. Completing four years in Rotterdam, de Korte returned to Australia to study at the Sydney Art Academy. After marrying, he and his new bride bought a sailboa (showing 500 of 920 characters). |
