| Born in Philadelphia, PA on Oct. 21, 1840. By 1860 Henrietta was living in Oakland and in that year wed James Latham, brother of the governor of California. In 1866 she was briefly in Virginia City. Widowed in 1876, she soon wed a man named Dwight and settled into a 50-room mansion in Menlo Park, CA. During 1890-91 she lived in Santa Barbara. She died while in Paris, France on Feb. 6, 1909 and was buried in Oakland. Her rare works are similar to those of Chris (showing 500 of 960 characters). |
