Horace Wolfe Duesbury
1851-1904
Horace Wolfe Duesbury was a painter of portraits, landscapes,
mountains, rivers, and coastal scenes. He was born in Sheffield,
England in 1851 and died in Alameda, CA in April of 1904. He
studied in Australia and exhibited his work at the San Francisco Art
Museum; the Portland Mechanics' Fair from 1879 to 1883 where he won
several awar (showing 500 of 2770 characters). |
