| | Born in Budapest, Hungary on April 6, 1894. Baroness DeBarkoff studied at the Budapest and Vienna Art Academies, and in Paris at Ecole Municipal. Formerly a professor of fine arts at Andhra Research University in India, by the 1930s she had immigrated to California.
