Joseph F. De Martini was born in 1927 in San Francisco, California and began drawing and painting at an early age. He attended the University of San Francisco.
His earliest influence was the illustration work of George Petty and Rolf Armstrong, but afterseeing works by Alberto Vargas in the 1940s, he discovered his calling in the art of pin-up illustration. He met Alberto Vargas in 1951 and began a clo (showing 500 of 1006 characters). |
