This biography from the Archives of AskART:

In the fall of 1966 Ken did a rendering of the Pan American World Airways Clipper Cargo freight terminal at John F. Kennedy Airport, New York.  The illustration was for a two-page spread that appeared in a wide array of shipping and handling publications throughout the US.  Actually, each side of the spread was a gate-fold.  When closed, it simply showed the exterior of the terminal, two panels (pages) wide, but when opened the inside illustration was four panels wide.  It was exceedingly complex and had to quickly convey to the viewer the intricacy and efficiency of the then-revolutionary computerized cargo assembly and distribution capabilities of the facility.  Ken did the illustration before the terminal was completed, so the ad was ready to be run exactly upon the terminal’s completion.
