| Lisa Diller was a graphic artist and creative director of a New York advertising agency before she explored pastels while traveling in the country with her husband, landscape artist Jim Maio. The artist, who taught herself to use the medium, creates bold landscapes and still life images.
Lisa Diller won the 2002 Joseph V. Giffuni Memorial Award from the Pastel Society of America for her painting "Gateaux."
