Louis Dodd (1943-2006)
He was born in Hastings, East Sussex, England on May 15, 1943. Aged 16 he attended the Hastings school of Art then studied illustration at Goldsmiths, New cross, London, England. He moved back to Hastings in 1967 working as a typography tutor at Goldsmiths, later taking a part time post at Hastings college.
He began painting full time in the early 70's. Perfecting his unique technique based on the Old Masters. His painting style is accurate to the (showing 500 of 1412 characters). |
