The following is from the artist, March 2004.
Marsha Donahue lives and works both on the coast of Maine near Portland and in the Mt. Katahdin region. Her work was primarily industrial oils on paper and canvas up until 1984 when she switched to landscape, and some figure, painting in watercolor.
She has a Bachelors degree in painting and print making from Maine College of Art and American University, continuing with two years of graduate study at the latter.
