| A painter, writer, illustrator and art educator Miss Dewing Woodward was active in New York, Provincetown, Paris and Miami. She studied at the Pennsylvania Academy and in Paris at the Academies Julian and Colarossi. She also spent time in Woodstock, New York and participated in the Byrdcliffe Colony Arts and Crafts Movement.
Work by Miss Dewing Woodward is at the City Hall in Coral Gables, Florida and the University of Miami.
