Biography from Art Museum of Missoula:
| | Monte Dolack, a native of Great Falls, studied art at Montana State University and UM. In 1974 he opened his studio beginning his career in graphic and fine arts. He is the recipient of numerous awards and his work is part of the collection of the Library of Congress, American Association of Museums, National Wildlife Foundation and many museum and corporate collections. His iconographic images of anthropomorphized animals and glowing landscapes are recognized across western Montana. |
