The following, submitted April 2004 and April 2005, is from the artist.
My specialty is ethnic portraits, and I find when I paint that time flies by because I am in the moment. I have been drawing since I was a child, and later I enrolled in art classes that were available in junior high, high school and in college. I studied under a Mr. Garcia and a Mr. Beasley at Yuma High School for three years, and then Professor Ellen Wolf at Northern Arizona University in the late 80's.
