Paul Duckworth July 12, 1920 – September 22, 2005

Paul achieved an international reputation while studying and working abroad after High School.  In 1943, he was commissioned to paint First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.  Paul absorbed the Surrealist ethos in later years while in New York.  Many canvases from his long artistic career are populated with phantoms from the psyche’s depths.  Paul’s paintings may be found in private collections around the world.  In addition, Paul became a professional photographer and was an internationally known photojournalist and published author.  His work has appeared in over 400 newspapers and magazines all over the world and he won over a dozen international awards in as many years.
