Philip-Lorca diCorcia (1951-)
Born in 1951 in Hartford, Connecticut, he studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Afterwards diCorcia attended Yale University where he received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography in 1979. He lives and works in New York, and teaches at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
His work has been described as documentary photography, carefully staged, thus elevating the banality of everyday scenes into a world between rea (showing 500 of 1853 characters). |
