| Born in Sacramento, California, Richard Dodge was raised in Northern California and became a printmaker and painter. He was a student at the Art Center School of Los Angeles and at the Cincinnati Art Academy, and also took lessons from Lyonel Feininger.
He exhibited his work, including watercolors, in Oakland and Sacramento.
