| Known for her pastel paintings of multifaceted landscapes, Rosemary Dugan is from Wichita, Kansas and serves there as President and participating artist of Gallery XII, an Artists Cooperative Gallery. Her studio is adjacent.
She grew up on a dairy farm and earned a Bachelor Fine Arts degree from Newman University in 1962. She has married, had children and served as a teacher of children's art classes. She has also created designs for liturgical banners at Newman University and for stained-glass windows for the parish of Newman.
In addition to fine-art painting, Dugan has served on the Advisory Council for the Kansas Arts Commission.
