Santiago Martinez Delgado: Muralist, painter, sculptor and illustrator.

Born 1906 in Bogotá Colombia, Master Santiago Martinez Delgado established his reputation as the most prominent muralist in Colombia during the 1940’s.  He was a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright and had a strong Art Deco influence.

He attended the Chicago Fine Arts Academy under the tutoring of Ruth VanSickle Ford, where he was awarded the Logan Medal for his mural at the 1933 Chicago International Fair.& (showing 500 of 1723 characters).
