Biography from Butler Institute of American Art:
| Painter (1923-1989). Born Brooklyn, New York. Lived in Buffalo 1947-1950, 1952-1956, 1959-1965, 1966-1989.
Seymour Drumlevitch was a prolific abstract painter of primarily oil paintings and ink drawings. However, after 1960, he incorporated collage in his work, which often featured Jewish themes.
Drumlevitch also taught art for many years at the Albright Art Gallery and the State University of New York at Buffalo. |
