| Moving from Minnesota to New York City in 1967, Tad Day studied figure
drawing with Andrew Lukach and Marshall Glasier at the Art Students
League. In 1969, he met Martin Pajeck, whose emotional approach
to painting had much influence on Day. He died in New York City
on October 22, 2005.
