Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1877, Theodore Scott Dabo did paintings that were exhibited in Paris at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs and Ecole des Beaux Arts, and also in London. He traveled extensively and studied painting independently but ceased painting owing to irreconcilable views of teachers and his own ideas.
He returned to New York in 1900 and studied natural law and optics, and made discoveries in atmosphere, luminosity and vibration. He died on November, 17th in Billancourt (Seine), France, 1928.
The birth date (of 1870) is possibly wrong and may be that of Leon and Theodore's brother Louis Scott Dabo, a writer who's publishers where in Trenton, NJ.
