The following biography has much information provided by Eric Albronda, whose mother, Mildred Albronda wrote a book on this artist.
The first student enrolled in the California School for the Deaf, Theophilus d'Estrella became primarily known as an accomplished photographer as well as painter. He was also a lecturer on nature, writer, and mountain climber.
He became an instructor at the School for the Deaf and had great influence on the prominent California artist, Granville Redmo (showing 500 of 2772 characters). |
