China painter, art teacher. Born in Czechoslovakia in 1901. DeMarsa was trained at the Dresden Art Academy. By 1921 she had settled in Los Angeles and was teaching art in the public schools. During the 1930s she established Vallone Starr Ceramics that continued to operate in El Monte, CA until 1953.
