Virginia Engleman Dehn was born in Missouri and grew up in New Haven, Connecticut. She met her husband, Adolph Dehn, a renowned watercolorist and lithographer, while studying in New York City.
Throughout her career, Virginia Dehn's work has referred to a wide range of locales studied through years of world travel. "Painting is my life. It has always been so", said Dehn. "Each day is a search and a challenge. My pattern is to work in series, reaching solutions to a part (showing 500 of 1500 characters). |
